Hi, My Name is Dana and not only am I the most fun photographer on the block I’m also a Mama.

This little boy of mine can sometimes make me wonder how I have so much hair left and how it stays (for the most part) it’s original shade. Being a Mama is crazy, messy, heart wrenching, and frustrating at times but if you’re like me, you wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

I do introduce myself as a hot mess mom very often. I don’t have the tidiest house, it definitely wouldn’t be found on Pinterest, nor do the clothes always make it from the clean laundry baskets to folded within our dressers. Most of the time I plan a dinner only to find out that the bag of cheese or loaf of bread I was planning to use has gone slightly past it’s prime.

The thing is I’m totally ok with that, because there are only so many years left that I will still be my son’s favorite human on earth.

I would rather have last minute pizza than miss out on the silly little everyday moments that seem meaningless until they are a memory.

It’s no surprise this boy of mine is a handful, He gets that from his mama, but he’s also really silly, funny and sweet. A big reason I don’t loose my cool when a toddler is throwing a fit or why I take extra time when a baby has a little stranger anxiety, is because my kid did that too! It’s totally normal and every kid is different.

Long story short, I get it. I’ve been there too, kids are absolutely insane at times, honestly all the best people are once an a while.

That’s the Magic of Childhood they can go from absolute crazy people to the biggest sweetest snuggliest little being on the planet.
